How to Make Kale Chips

I never thought Kale chips could taste so good, but they really do! Plus, an added bonus, they are really healthy snacks!

Benefits include:
-Stronger Immune System
-Better Eye Sight
-Less Calories & Healthy Cholesterol
+ much much more

Ingredients:

  • 1 Kale Head
  • 1 teaspoons of Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Oven + Baking Pan
Serves: approximately 1 person
Prep Time: about 5 minutes
Cook Time: about 15-20 minutes

Directions:
  1. Clean Kale
  2. Dry Kale
  3. Remove each Kale from stem
  4. Cut Kale in half making sure to cut the left over stem (this is important because the stem stays soggy and doesn't get crispy in the oven)
  5. toss in bowl
  6. add salt and olive oil
  7. toss until well mixed
  8. line baking pan with thin layer of olive oil so the kale doesn't stick (you don't need a lot, just enough to make the kale chips not stick)
  9. arrange kale onto baking pan making sure you leave enough space between them (I left about 1-2 centimeter space between each kale and it turned out great)
  10. Oven should be set to 275 degrees, leave the kale in the oven for about 15-20 minutes (I left mine for 15 minutes and it was just right, so it might depend on your oven)
Reminder: BE CAREFUL! Using the oven is dangerous, if you are young do not do it alone. Make sure to have an adult present with you. Also the prep time and cook time might vary from person to person and from oven to oven. One last thing, this is largely based on trial and error, if the first time your kale chips get burned to get upset, set it to a lower temperature or remove it sooner (which is what i did, instead of 20 minutes, I removed it after 15).

GOOD LUCK!
